Nuggets' Aaron Gordon set to play after dog bite

Aaron Gordon is expected to play in Monday's game against the Charlotte Hornets after returning to practice on Sunday. He sustained lacerations from a dog bite on Christmas and needed 21 stitches, but feels ready to return to basketball activities. Gordon would presumably retreat to the bench once his availability is confirmed closer to tipoff. He missed the last two games due to the injuries and is averaging 13.6 points and 6.9 rebounds for the Denver Nuggets.
