Mother Charged After Son Killed in Crash

Kerri Bedrick, a 32-year-old mother from Centerport, New York, has been charged with multiple drug and driving offenses following a tragic crash that killed her nine-year-old son, Eli Henrys. Bedrick was reportedly under the influence of methamphetamine and driving with an expired license that had been suspended 56 times when she drove the wrong way on the Southern State Parkway, resulting in a four-vehicle pile-up. She pleaded not guilty in court, where her bail was set at $1 million cash and $2 million surety. Prosecutors revealed that she had a history of substance abuse and prior DWI convictions, and she admitted to taking meth the night before the crash.
