Four Juveniles Charged After Lynchburg Shooting

Four juveniles were arrested by Lynchburg Police following a shooting incident on July 27 in the 900 block of Cabell Street. Initial reports indicated gunshots and a gray Jeep associated with a group of juveniles, but officers could not locate suspects at first. About an hour later, police received an updated report that the same group had returned, with one juvenile observed carrying a firearm. Upon arrival, officers detained four individuals and recovered one gun. A 15-year-old was charged with concealed weapon possession, another 15-year-old was charged with providing false identification, and a 14-year-old was served with outstanding petitions, while a 13-year-old was released to parents with pending charges.
