Nguyen, who has four prior DUI convictions and was driving with a suspended license, allegedly ran a red light, leading to the fatal collision. Munoz was trapped in her vehicle and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Nguyen was arrested and faces charges of gross vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI causing great bodily injury after being found under the influence of alcohol.
