Shreveport Prepares for Humor and Harmony Festival

The Shreveport Farmers' Market, recognized as Louisiana's top market, will relocate to Riverview Hall on August 10 to accommodate the Humor & Harmony Festival, which runs from August 8-11. This festival, masterminded by Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, will feature a variety of events including comedy shows, a celebrity basketball game, and a concert lineup with artists like Ray J and DaBaby. Expected to draw over 30,000 visitors, local businesses are gearing up for increased demand during the festival, with restaurants preparing for an influx of customers. The Farmers' Market will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., offering over 80 vendors, while other festival events will require tickets, with some free activities available as well.
