Man Charged in Fatal Glasgow Bus Crash
In Ogden, Utah, 43-year-old Joshua Eugene Eastep has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident that led to the death of a 58-year-old pedestrian. Police reported that the victim was hit while crossing outside a designated crosswalk; Eastep later admitted he fled due to fear. Additionally, officers discovered methamphetamine in his possession during booking, leading to further charges. Meanwhile, in Glasgow, a 55-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a bus crash that resulted in the death of a 65-year-old pedestrian on January 27. Emergency services pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal regarding the incident. Both cases highlight ongoing concerns regarding pedestrian safety and accountability in traffic-related fatalities.
