Bears Sign Top Picks Williams and Odunze
The Chicago Bears have secured their top two 2024 NFL Draft picks, quarterback Caleb Williams and wide receiver Rome Odunze, with fully guaranteed contracts. Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall pick and 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, signed a four-year deal worth $39.5 million, including a $25.5 million signing bonus. Rome Odunze, selected ninth overall, agreed to a four-year, $22.7 million contract with a $13.3 million signing bonus. Williams' and Odunze's signings come just as Bears rookies report for training camp, with both players expected to play pivotal roles in transforming the team's offense. Williams, hailed as a generational talent, has already begun building chemistry with his top receivers, including veteran DJ Moore. Odunze, known for his versatility and impressive college career, is seen as a key addition to the Bears' receiving corps.
