World Mangrove Day

In India, Climate Front Vizag organized a rally to raise awareness on mangrove conservation, stressing their importance in combating coastal erosion and supporting wildlife. Meanwhile, residents of Padmapur village in Odisha planted 10,000 mangrove plants with the support of Reliance Foundation, aiming to mitigate climate risks and enhance community resilience. In Belize, the Protected Areas Conservation Trust reiterated its commitment to mangrove conservation, celebrating its long-term investment in marine protected areas.
