A two-alarm fire in Fort Collins, Colorado, resulted in one confirmed death when firefighters discovered a body inside a burning home on Gemstone Lane early Friday morning. The Poudre Fire Authority (PFA) responded to the blaze at approximately 5:50 a.m., where flames were visible from multiple sides of the two-story structure. Firefighters worked both externally and internally to extinguish the fire and ventilate the building. Investigators from PFA and Fort Collins Police Services are jointly investigating the cause of the fire, which remains undetermined at this time. The Larimer County Coroner's Office will release the deceased's identity once notifications are made to emergency contacts. Community members are asked to provide any information related to the incident to assist in the investigation.
