Paris Olympics 2024: Florida Athletes Shine

The 2024 Paris Olympics will feature a strong representation from Florida, with over 50 athletes hailing from the state, including many from the Tampa Bay area. Biles will be joined by other notable gymnasts, including Jade Carey and rising star Hezly Rivera. The Games will also mark the final Olympic appearances for several legendary athletes, such as Jamaican sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and high jumpers Gianmarco Tamberi and Mutaz Barshim. Biles is expected to face stiff competition from Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade, who is set to debut a new vault in Paris.
