Heavy Rains Cause Chaos Across Indian States

Heavy rains have caused significant disruption and devastation across several Indian states. In Himachal Pradesh, 197 roads, including two national highways, were closed due to landslides and flash floods, affecting power and water supplies and resulting in multiple fatalities. Rajasthan experienced a flood-like situation, causing 22 deaths and rescuing about 100 people, as heavy rainfall led to blocked roads and school closures. Additionally, in Bengaluru, heavy rains caused severe waterlogging and traffic disruptions, impacting daily life. Efforts are ongoing to locate missing individuals and restore normalcy in these affected regions.
