Satish Tiptur New Director of Rangayana Mysuru

Satish Tiptur has been appointed as the new director of Rangayana Mysuru, a prominent theatre repertory, after the position remained vacant for over a year. Tiptur, who has 25 years of experience in theatre, is also known for founding the Bhoomi Theatre and has a background in computer science. Additionally, Prasanna D. has been appointed as the director of Shivamogga Rangayana, and Rajesab Talikoti for Dharwad Rangayana, highlighting the state's commitment to fostering local theatre and cultural activities. The government also announced appointments for directors in five other theatre repertories across Karnataka. Tiptur aims to encourage local artists and maintain transparency while continuing the legacy of engaging the community in theatre. Both directors expressed their visions for enhancing theatre activities in their respective regions.
