Mahomes Sr. Arrested Again, Brother Faces Legal Trouble

Patrick Mahomes Sr., father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, was arrested on 9 January in Tyler, Texas, for his third-degree DWI offense. This arrest occurred as his son prepared for the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII match against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas on 13 February. Mahomes Sr. previously served 40 days in jail for his second DWI charge in 2018. He had an 11-season career as a professional baseball player. Additionally, the quarterback's brother, Jackson Mahomes, had three felony charges dropped against him last month, related to allegations of inappropriate conduct.
