2024 ESPYS Nominations Revealed; Caitlin Clark Leads with Three Nods

Caitlin Clark, the 22-year-old WNBA rookie playing for the Indiana Fever, leads the 2024 ESPY Awards nominations with three nods for Best Athlete, Women's Sports; Best College Athlete, Women's Sports; and Best Record-Breaking Performance for surpassing Pete Maravich as the NCAA’s all-time scoring leader. Clark made a significant impact during her college career at the University of Iowa, earning numerous accolades and averaging 32 points per game. Patrick Mahomes and Shohei Ohtani also received multiple nominations, with Mahomes up for Best Athlete, Men's Sports and Best NFL Player, and Ohtani for Best Athlete, Men's Sports and Best MLB Player. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Aces, including star A'ja Wilson, are also in the running for Best Team. The 2024 ESPYS, hosted by Serena Williams, will air live on July 11 on ABC.
