India sends 24 Armed-Forces Athletes to Paris Olympics

Neeraj Chopra, the gold medalist from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, is among the 24 armed forces personnel representing India at the 2024 Paris Olympics, with a total of 117 athletes competing. This contingent includes two women athletes from the armed forces, marking their debut at the Olympics. Apart from Chopra, other notable participants like Havildar Jaismine Lamboria and CPO Ritika Hooda are aiming to make history in boxing and wrestling. The Indian Army's strong presence in various disciplines showcases their commitment to promoting sporting excellence and fostering athleticism nationwide.
