Farhan Akhtar recently shared his critical perspective on the film, stating that it did not resonate with him personally and he found the character problematic. Although he praised the performances, music, and Vanga's dedication, he would not recommend the film to others. Akhtar emphasized that he does not believe in dictating filmmaking norms to other directors, acknowledging that each filmmaker has their unique journey. Despite his reservations, he commended Vanga for his commitment to the project.
