Trump Forms 2025 Presidential Transition Team

Former President Donald Trump announced the formation of his transition team, Trump Vance 2025 Transition Inc., which will be co-chaired by former Small Business Administration head Linda McMahon and Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick. Trump's sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, along with his running mate Senator JD Vance, will serve as honorary chairs. Trump emphasized that his administration is prepared to deliver on the 2024 GOP Platform to Make America Great Again, promising safety, prosperity, and freedom. Lutnick, a known supporter of cryptocurrencies, has previously hosted fundraisers for Trump and is involved in the Bitcoin financing business. Trump's move to establish this transition team is seen as a step to distance himself from the controversial Project 2025 by the Heritage Foundation.
