Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu announced that the Bhogapuram International Airport is 36% complete and on track for operational status by June 2026. He emphasized the project's significance for enhancing regional connectivity and economic development in Uttarandhra. During a recent review, Naidu instructed officials to accelerate construction efforts, noting a 4% increase in progress over the past month. The review included inspections of key components such as the terminal, runway, and air traffic control tower. Additionally, the government is exploring the construction of new airports in several other districts. Naidu expressed confidence that the project would be a point of pride for the NDA coalition government.
