World's Tallest Dog Kevin Dies at Age 3

Kevin, a 3-year-old Great Dane from West Des Moines, Iowa, who was recently recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's tallest living dog, has died following an unplanned surgery after falling ill. Measuring 3 feet, 2 inches from his paws to his withers and approximately 7 feet when standing on his hind legs, Kevin was celebrated for his gentle nature and humorous fear of household items like vacuum cleaners. His owners, Tracy and Roger Wolfe, expressed their devastation over his sudden passing and noted that Kevin loved the attention he received from breaking the record. The Guinness World Records organization also expressed their sorrow, acknowledging the efforts made by Tracy and her veterinary team to save him. Kevin's death comes just months after another record-holding Great Dane, Zeus, passed away at the same age.
