Student Anurag Jaiswal Found Dead in Mumbai

Anurag Jaiswal, a 29-year-old first-year HR management student at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai, was found dead in his rented apartment after attending a party the night before. Police suspect alcohol poisoning as Jaiswal consumed significant quantities of alcohol, leading to the bartender cutting him off and him drinking from friends' glasses. Initial suspicions of ragging were ruled out after police interviews with students and hotel staff. His roommates found him unresponsive the next morning and rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead. An accidental death report has been filed and a postmortem will be conducted to confirm the cause of death. Further investigation is ongoing.
