Rajkummar Rao and Manushi

Rajkummar Rao is set to star in the highly anticipated horror comedy 'Stree 2,' alongside Shraddha Kapoor, scheduled for release on August 15, 2024. Following this, he is also preparing for a new film directed by Pulkit, with production by Jay Shewakramani, where he will be paired for the first time with Manushi Chhillar. The plot details of this yet-untitled project remain under wraps, but filming is expected to begin in September 2024, aiming for a 2025 release. This collaboration marks a shift for Rao as it moves away from his usual comic roles and is anticipated to showcase a fresh dynamic between him and Chhillar. 'Stree 2' continues the story from the original 2018 film, introducing a new supernatural antagonist, and reunites the original cast. Rao's busy schedule also includes the comic caper 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' set for release in October 2023.
