Delhi Court Orders BRS Leader's Medical Examination

BRS leader K Kavitha, facing charges in multiple cases including the Delhi excise policy-linked money laundering case, has been directed by the Rouse Avenue Court to undergo a medical check-up at AIIMS due to health concerns while in Tihar Jail. She was previously taken to Deen Dayal Hospital and later referred to AIIMS after complaining about the malfunctioning of health monitoring tools. Kavitha's judicial custody has been extended till July 22 as investigations continue. Arrested by the ED and CBI in separate cases, she faces charges related to corruption and money laundering. The court has requested a report from the health institute and extended her custody amid ongoing legal proceedings.
