Renowned scholar, prolific writer, and legal luminary AG Noorani passed away at his Mumbai residence on Thursday at the age of 94. Born Abdul Ghafoor Majeed Noorani in Mumbai on September 16, 1930, Noorani's death was widely mourned, with tributes highlighting his extensive contributions to legal scholarship, political commentary, and human rights.
