WWE Raw Begins Intercontinental Title Contender Tournament

WWE is expanding its international reach, planning to broadcast an episode of WWE Raw from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in November, following several premium live events in 2024, including WWE Bash In Berlin on August 31. In the ongoing Intercontinental Championship number-one contender tournament, Jey Uso and Pete Dunne have advanced to the finals after winning their respective triple threat matches. Uso defeated Karrion Kross and Kofi Kingston, while Dunne bested The Miz and Xavier Woods. Two more triple threat matches are scheduled for next week to determine the remaining finalists, with the winners joining Uso and Dunne in a fatal four-way bout on September 9. The upcoming matches will feature Ilja Dragunov vs. Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio and Sheamus vs. Bronson Reed vs. Ludwig Kaiser. Additionally, Zelina Vega will return to action in a singles match against Shayna Baszler on the September 2 episode of Raw.
