Tesco food recall
Several major supermarkets, including M&S, Iceland, Asda, Tesco, and Morrisons, have recently issued food product recalls due to safety concerns, particularly undeclared allergens. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has alerted consumers about various items, including Dunnes Stores' Italian Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce, which contains milk not listed on the label, and Asda's Extra Special Sea Salt and Chardonnay Wine Vinegar Hand Cooked Crisps, which also may contain undeclared milk. Additionally, some products from The Isle of Wight Meat Company and Johnston Mooney and O'Brien are being recalled due to improper permissions and potential metal fragments, respectively. The FSA has emphasized the importance of returning affected items for a full refund and has provided guidance on handling these recalls. There are also warnings about certain plastic containers made from bamboo that may leak toxic substances into food. Consumers are advised to avoid using these products to prevent health risks.
