Stanford Upsets No. 4 Arizona in Pac-12 Matchup
Stanford ended No. 4 Arizona's unbeaten start to Pac-12 play with a 100-82 victory on Sunday behind a school-record-tying 16 3-pointers, including eight from Spencer Jones. Jones scored 21 points and freshman Kanaan Carlyle added 25 for the Cardinal (6-6, 1-1 Pac-12), who led by as many as 25 points in the second half. Arizona (10-3, 1-1) got 23 points from Caleb Love, but shot just 41.2% from the field and 23.1% from 3-point range. The Wildcats also struggled to contain Stanford's shooters, allowing the Cardinal to shoot 58.1% from the field overall. The loss ended Arizona's chance to run the table in its final Pac-12 season before heading to the Big Ten.
