Joseph Glynn, a 71-year-old man from Green Hills, Nashville, has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for killing his 76-year-old wife, Jackie Glynn, on New Year's Day 2024. Jackie was initially reported missing, leading to a Silver Alert, before her body was found buried on the couple's DeKalb County property. Her son, Chad Folk, played a crucial role in uncovering the crime using a tracking app, and delivered a heartfelt statement in court expressing the family's profound loss. Glynn has been sentenced to life in prison, with additional charges for tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse being dropped as part of the plea agreement.
