Brandy Seeks Return in New Horror Sequel
Brandy, known for her role as Karla Wilson in the 1998 film 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer', has expressed her desire to return for the upcoming sequel, unaware it was in development until recently. She emphasized her character's survival in the previous films, stating, 'I need them to give me a call because I survived in that movie!' Brandy also reached out to her former co-stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr., who are reportedly in talks to reprise their roles. The sequel is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 18, 2025, directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and will continue the original story. The franchise, based on Lois Duncan's novel, follows a group of friends haunted by a killer, and Brandy's character's survival offers a unique perspective in the horror genre. Brandy has also been keeping busy with recent projects, including 'The Front Room', set for release on September 6.
