New Road Closures Across the U.S.

Multiple road closures and construction projects are affecting traffic across the United States. In Plainfield, IL, Indian Boundary Road will close for three months starting August 12 for culvert and road widening work. Patton Street in Danville is closed due to a failed stormwater culvert, with repairs underway. Extensive flood damage has closed Canterwood Drive in Bryan County, GA, while the Lincoln Way and Franklin Avenue intersection in Ames is partially closed for pavement replacement. In Waco, TX, US 84 will experience lane closures for a new raised median project, expected to last until the end of the year. Lastly, I-26 East in NC will have overnight closures for a widening project, and the Blaine Hill bridge on U.S. 40 in Ohio is closed due to safety concerns.
