89-Year-Old Man Dies After Aiken Crash
An 89-year-old man, identified as David Emory, died on July 27 after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on July 24 in Aiken County, South Carolina. The accident occurred on Robert M. Bell Parkway when Emory's 1993 Buick sedan, attempting to turn left onto Trolley Line Road, was struck by an eastbound 2005 Ford coupe. Emory was transported to Augusta University Hospital following the collision, where he succumbed to his injuries three days later. The driver of the Ford coupe was unharmed. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Aiken County Coroner's Office are conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
