Prime Video Announces Vought Rising Prequel Series

Prime Video has officially announced a new prequel series titled 'Vought Rising' during San Diego Comic-Con, featuring Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash as Stormfront, both of whom will also serve as producers. Set in the 1950s, the series will explore the origins of the Vought corporation through a 'twisted murder mystery' narrative that includes the early exploits of Soldier Boy and the character's previous identity, Clara Vought. Executive producers Eric Kripke and Paul Grellong expressed excitement about delivering a story that is both grisly and engaging, promising a saga filled with blood and the notorious Compound V. This announcement follows the news that the flagship series 'The Boys' will conclude with its fifth season, but the franchise continues to expand with this new spin-off. 'Vought Rising' joins the ranks of other spin-offs such as 'Gen V' and 'The Boys Presents: Diabolical'.
