Lake Shore Fire lifted

Evacuation orders and road closures for the Shelly Fire in Siskiyou County have been lifted as the fire is now 92% contained, covering 15,520 acres. Meanwhile, the Lake Shore Fire in Boulder County, which ignited on Wednesday and burned approximately seven acres, also saw evacuations lifted on Thursday morning. This fire, which destroyed one home and was likely human-caused, has left crews mopping up hot spots. Multiple agencies responded to the Lake Shore Fire, with helicopters deployed for water drops from Gross Reservoir.
