Reliance Unveils JioBrain AI Initiative

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, introduced Jio Brain at the company's 47th AGM, a suite of AI tools aimed at democratizing artificial intelligence in India. The initiative includes establishing gigawatt-scale AI-ready data centers in Jamnagar, powered by green energy, to drive down AI inferencing costs, making advanced AI applications more affordable. Jio Brain will enhance decision-making, prediction accuracy, and customer understanding across Jio and its subsidiaries, with a focus on embedding AI into all processes. Furthermore, Jio aims to provide 100 GB of free cloud storage to users and develop multiple AI inference facilities nationwide. Ambani emphasized the importance of hosting AI services within India for security and privacy, highlighting various applications of AI in sectors such as retail, healthcare, and education. He also noted Jio's success in rolling out 5G technology, aiming to leverage its advancements in AI to further improve customer service and operational efficiency.
