200+ GOP Officials Endorse Harris for President

A coalition of over 200 former aides to prominent Republicans, including George W. Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president over GOP nominee Donald Trump. This endorsement comes in the form of an open letter, citing concerns that another Trump presidency would irreparably damage American democracy and national security. The letter, which includes signatures from staffers of both Bush administrations, calls on moderate Republicans and conservative independents to support Harris. The endorsement follows similar support these staffers provided to Joe Biden in 2020. Meanwhile, Trump has received endorsements from figures such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, but his campaign has not commented on the recent bipartisan support for Harris. Polls indicate Harris currently leads Trump by seven points nationally.
