Rufus Radcliffe Appointed CEO of STV Group

Rufus Radcliffe has been appointed as the new CEO of STV Group, effective November 1, 2024, succeeding Simon Pitts. Radcliffe joins from ITV, where he significantly contributed to the digital transformation and the launch of the ITVX streaming service during his 13-year tenure. His experience also includes roles at Channel 4, where he was involved in launching both E4 and the 4OD streaming platform. Paul Reynolds, chair of STV Group, expressed excitement about Radcliffe's leadership potential as the company shifts to a digital-first, content-led approach. Additionally, Colin Jones has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, effective September 2, 2024. Simon Pitts is set to step down on October 31, 2024, after leading STV since 2018.
