Former NFL player Gosder Cherilus was arrested for disorderly conduct aboard a Delta Airlines flight after allegedly urinating on another passenger and striking a third individual. The flight, which was headed from Boston to Dublin, was forced to return to Logan International Airport due to Cherilus's behavior, which included appearing intoxicated and arguing with crew members. Upon landing, Cherilus became irate and uncooperative when state police attempted to remove him from the aircraft. He claimed that his actions were a result of a sleeping medication taken prior to the flight, which he does not typically use. Cherilus has since apologized for his behavior, stating it does not reflect his character. He was arraigned in court on Monday and faces charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing a flight crew.
