Telangana Talli Statue Bhoomi Puja Held

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy performed the Bhumi Puja for the Telangana Talli statue at the state Secretariat on August 28, 2024, with the statue set to be unveiled on December 9, 2024. The installation faced prior controversy regarding the proposed location, as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) opposed the placement of a statue for former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in the same vicinity. Reddy emphasized the importance of the statue's location at the Secretariat for visibility to visitors and officials. The ceremony was attended by various ministers and officials, despite some absences due to other commitments.
