Google Launches Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel 9

Google has launched the Pixel Watch 3, available in two sizes (41mm and 45mm), featuring advanced health tracking and AI capabilities, including Loss of Pulse Detection that can call emergency services if it detects a user's pulse has stopped. The watch uses Google’s Gemini AI to provide personalized workout recommendations and track various running metrics, integrates with Fitbit for features like the Morning Brief, and has a brighter display with longer battery life. It is made from recycled aluminum. Concurrently, Google appears to be phasing out its Fitbit smartwatch line to focus on the Pixel Watch. The Pixel Watch 3 was launched alongside the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and various Pixel phones at the Made by Google 2024 event.
