France, represented by Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu, has solidified defense ties with Armenia by signing a contract for the purchase of CAESAR artillery systems. This agreement marks a significant advancement in their relationship, following previous arms deals between the two countries. The CAESAR is a 155mm howitzer mounted on armored chassis. Lecornu emphasized the importance of this deal during a productive meeting with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan at the Eurosatory international exhibition, underscoring the ongoing efforts to enhance defense cooperation between France and Armenia.
