CBI Detains AIIMS Patna Doctors in NEET Leak

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has detained multiple individuals, including students and doctors from AIIMS Patna, in connection with the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak. The investigation has led to the arrest of key suspects Pankaj Kumar and Raju Singh, who allegedly stole the exam paper from a National Testing Agency trunk in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. The CBI has also confiscated electronic devices and sealed rooms of those involved. Additionally, a special court in Patna has remanded the suspects in custody for further questioning. The Supreme Court is hearing petitions related to the exam irregularities, with calls for a re-test and comprehensive investigation into the malpractices. The number of arrests in this case has now reached 14, as the CBI continues to probe the larger conspiracy involving interstate links.
