Chris Woakes Eyes England Tours After Recent Success

England pacer Chris Woakes has expressed his readiness to participate in upcoming tours to Pakistan and New Zealand, despite his historically poor overseas performance compared to his exceptional home record. Woakes, who has taken 127 wickets in 32 home Tests but only 36 wickets in 20 away Tests, faced criticism after England's 4-0 defeat in the 2021-22 Ashes series. He has not played an away Test since March 2022 and was left out of the tour to India last winter. Woakes emphasized that he wouldn't decline a selection and has been working on his batting to boost his chances. With the retirement of James Anderson and Stuart Broad, Woakes has become a senior figure in the England attack. England is set to play a three-Test series in Pakistan in October followed by another in New Zealand in December.
