Daredevil: Born Again Series Announced for Disney+

Charlie Cox revealed that he was first contacted by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige in 2020 about reprising his role as Daredevil, leading to the announcement of 'Daredevil: Born Again' two years later. Despite his initial excitement, Cox believed a reboot was unlikely after Marvel went silent, while his co-star Vincent D’Onofrio remained optimistic about their return. Cox recalled dismissing D’Onofrio’s persistent hopes as delusional, but was ultimately shocked when Marvel confirmed the reboot, which will premiere on Disney+ in March 2025. The original Netflix series, which featured Cox and D’Onofrio, was canceled in 2018 after three seasons. The upcoming series will also see the return of other cast members from the original show, marking a significant revival of the franchise. A second season of 'Daredevil: Born Again' has already been greenlit, indicating strong confidence in the series.
