Marilyn Manson Appeals Dismissed Defamation Claims

Marilyn Manson, legally known as Brian Warner, is appealing the dismissal of key claims in his defamation lawsuit against ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood and her associate Illma Gore. This appeal follows allegations made by Wood in 2021, which prompted numerous women to come forward with similar accusations against Manson, all of which he denies. Manson's legal team now asserts they have evidence of a forged FBI letter allegedly used by Wood and Gore to manipulate other women into making false claims against him. The appeal seeks to revisit claims that Wood and Gore orchestrated a campaign against him, including hacking his accounts and creating fictitious emails. A judge had previously dismissed much of Manson’s lawsuit in May 2023, ordering him to pay attorney fees to Wood and Gore.
