Thirteen Stranded on SeaWorld Ride

Thirteen passengers are stranded mid-air on the Vortex ride at Sea World on Australia's Gold Coast after the ride jammed approximately 30 meters off the ground around 3pm local time. Rescue crews, along with paramedics, are actively working to safely bring the passengers down. Sea World has described the incident as a 'standard ride stoppage' and confirmed that all passengers are safe and in communication with the staff. This marks the second ride malfunction at Sea World within a week, following a similar incident with the Leviathan rollercoaster. The cause of the Vortex ride's malfunction remains unknown.
