California School for the Deaf Assistant Arrested

Brandon Duran, a 25-year-old teaching assistant at the California School for the Deaf, has been arrested on suspicion of multiple sexual assaults involving juvenile students. Reported incidents occurred in Fremont and Livermore between July 4 and July 19, 2024. Duran faces multiple charges including oral copulation with a minor and unlawful sexual penetration, and is being held on $190,000 bail at Santa Rita Jail.
