Mark Briscoe Defends ROH World Championship

On the August 15 episode of Ring of Honor on HonorClub, Mark Briscoe successfully defended his World Championship against Johnny TV and then issued a challenge to The Beast Mortos for a title match. Following Briscoe's victory, Paul Wight, a member of ROH's Board of Directors, confirmed the match against Mortos. Additionally, during the episode, Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs retained their ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles against Cage of Agony via disqualification. Abadon was also announced as the next challenger for Athena’s Women’s World Championship.
