Morris, who served as the Executive Director of the UN World Food Programme from 2002 to 2007, led major humanitarian efforts, including providing food to millions of Iraqis and responding to the Indian Ocean tsunami. His extensive career also included roles such as chief of staff for Indianapolis Mayor Richard Lugar, president of Lilly Endowment, and vice chairman of Pacers Sports & Entertainment. Morris played a pivotal role in shaping Indianapolis' infrastructure, including the development of Market Square Arena and the Hoosier Dome.
