Jubilee Hills plot in Hyderabad

The Telangana government has allotted 600 square yards of land in Jubilee Hills to Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj, recognizing his contributions to the national cricket team, including his role in the T20 World Cup victory. The land allocation process, initiated by Siraj's request, involved proposals from the Hyderabad District Collector and recommendations from the Telangana Land Management Authority. In addition to the land, the government announced Group-1 job allocations for both Siraj and boxing champion Nikhat Zareen, highlighting their achievements in sports. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of providing such benefits to encourage sportspersons despite Siraj lacking the educational qualifications typically required for the job. The allotment follows a cabinet meeting decision and reflects the state's appreciation for athletes' efforts to bring pride to Telangana and India. Siraj was also celebrated with a warm welcome from fans upon his return to Hyderabad after the World Cup.
