Woman Charged With Wife's Murder in California

Weichien Huang, a 44-year-old woman, has been charged with murder and attempted murder after allegedly fatally stabbing her wife, Chen Chen Fei, with a katana during an argument on July 18 in San Dimas, California. The attack also seriously injured Fei's mother, who managed to wrestle the sword away and seek help despite her injuries. District Attorney George Gascón highlighted the case as a tragic example of domestic violence, calling it an 'insidious problem' in the country. If convicted, Huang faces a maximum sentence of life in prison, with prosecutors seeking $3 million bail.
