Curtis Warren Receives Suspended Sentence for Breaches

Curtis Warren, a notorious gangster and former drug trafficker, received a suspended 14-month prison sentence after admitting to six breaches of his Serious Crime Prevention Order (SCPO) at Liverpool Crown Court. The 61-year-old, who was released from prison in November 2022, had been facing 18 charges related to the breaches, including unauthorized use of communication devices and failure to report changes in his financial situation. Prosecutors stated that Warren treated the SCPO with contempt, breaching its terms multiple times shortly after his release. Warren expressed a desire for 'peace' and to live a life away from the public eye, as stated by his barrister. The SCPO was imposed in 2013 to restrict his activities following a 13-year sentence for drug trafficking. The National Crime Agency had been actively monitoring his compliance with the order.
